Still no scale...

Still no scale. I just haven't been out to get one yet. We were shopping on Sunday, and of course I forgot to look around for one. I did step on my regular scale though. Guess how much I've lost. 0. Zero freaking pounds.

I haven't been eating too bad and I've been working out at least 5 days a week for the last two weeks straight, and not a single pound lost. Seriously? I can't believe it.

Anyways, Sunday I started a post and somehow I didn't save it as a draft and it was erased. I didn't have time to retype it then, so I'll have to summarize it today. I'm bummed. Not only haven't I lost any weight, but my knee is messed up. It's been bothering me since I had the baby, but it really started becoming painful when I started running. I rested for a couple days and then biked and it seemed to feel better. Sunday, I decided to join a friend of mine on a run and I thought I was going to die. I really thought I was going to have to call my husband to come pick me up. It's just a big sharp pain right under my kneecap. I really think it's the joint, and have been trying to take Glucosamine tablets, but even those don't kick in for several months. The only think to ease the pain is Ibprofen, and I really don't like the idea of eating painkillers like they're candy (even after I got home from having the baby via c-section I didn't take the pain medication the doctor sent me with).

Needless to say, I now have a doctor's appointment next Tuesday to get my knee looked at. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it without surgery. I have no idea how that'd be possible, but I'm praying it's nothing serious.

Luckily biking doesn't hurt me at all. Yesterday morning I went on a 20 mile ride. It took about an hour and a half, which put me at an average of 13.6 miles per hour. Not too bad, but definitely needs improved. My goal is to do the 20 miles in an hour. This is very achievable for me. I know it sounds like a lot, but my body is built to bike ride. Some people are built for long distance running, some are built for all those crazy flexible yoga poses - I'm made to bike. That's a part of why I'm so focused on running. It's something that won't come easy and I love challenges.

Well, I'm heading to yoga tonight and then to Walmart (yuck) to buy my scale. Hopefully I'll post a picture of my weigh-in later!
